We always use distilled water in our soap because it is pure. The soap making process works best with water that is soft and does not contain excess minerals.

When we decided to make beer soap, it was a fun idea for Octoberfest. Since then, we have discovered many benefits to using beer in our soap. Beer hydrates and helps to draw toxins from your skin, leaving a natural glow. It is high in vitamin B, which helps soften your skin. Beer has anti-bacterial properties which can help fight off acne, and has the ability to clean out skin pores because of the alcohol content. Alcohol is a great astringent!
